After an action packed Brazilian Grand Prix saw George Russel take his first F1 victory, followed by teammate Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz in third. We have the latest release from architects, the classic symptoms of a broken spirit.

Heres a track-by-track breakdown of the album, with each song being ranked from p.1 to p.11. *TRACKS ARE LISTED IN ALBUM ORDER*

deep fake - p.4

deep fake starts with quiet distorted sound before the instrumentals come in sudden and start building. Vocals start soft with a mix of clean and unclean vocals throughout the song. The song builds to the chorus, and towards the end the instrumentals strip back with quiet vocals as the main focus point before it goes instrumentals only as they build for the vocals to jump back on.

tear gas - p.11

tear gas begins with sudden loud instrumentals that dip as the vocals come in before building together and then following a pattern of sound building and dipping back. There is a mix of clean and unclean vocals with the majority of the chorus being harsher vocals. The song overall builds towards the chorus and towards the end has a moment where it goes instrumentals only, before harsh vocals come back in and then build to the end.

spit the bone - p.3

spit the bone starts with electronic sounds building in the background before both vocals and instrumentals come in together. The vocals and instrumentals build over the verses and start of the chorus'. Overall the song has a sustained loud and heavy sound.

burn down my house - p.1

burn down my house starts with sudden distorted instrumentals and quiet vocals that build towards the chorus. Post - chorus the vocals and instrumentals come back in quiet and build again, this pattern continues for the rest of the song. Overall the song has a nice heavy sound with a constant drawn out electronic drone in the background.

living is killing us - p.5

living is killing us starts with a distorted instrumental that quickly becomes heavier but mellows out slightly when the vocals come in. Initially the vocals are clean but there is a mix of unclean vocals later in the song. The instrumentals and vocals build during the chorus and towards the end as the chorus is being repeated.

when we were young - p.10

when we were young starts with the sounds of a distorted guitar which soon builds up with the full instrumental being added in, as this is happening the vocals come in unclean and loud. The instrumentals and vocals soon mellow out and build after the chorus, over the verses. Towards the end the instrumentals strip back to that distorted guitar sound before building up again and mellowing for the finish.

doomscrolling - p.2

doomscrolling starts with clean vocals as instrumentals begin building up underneath the vocals. The instrumentals and vocals both build in the pre-chorus and chorus before dipping for the verses. Towards the end the instrumentals start to draw out and distort as they fade out.

born again pessimist - p.6

born again pessimist starts immediately with loud instrumentals that dip when the vocals come in before building back up again, with the vocals this time. The instrumentals and vocals build to a peak over the chorus before dipping for the next verse, this pattern continues throughout the song.

a new moral low ground - p.8

a new moral low ground starts with quiet vocals and instrumentals before both suddenly get vey heavy and loud, afterwards they mellow out and gradually build again over the chorus'. The verses start off very strong before striping back as they continue and then returning to the original theme after the chorus starts.

all the love in the world - p.7

all the love in the world starts with fast instrumentals that abruptly get louder before the vocals come in quietly. The vocals instrumentals build over the chorus', which is mostly done with short quick builds form soft to loud. Overall the song does become slightly repetitive towards the end.

be very afraid - p.9

be very afraid starts with loud, fast instrumentals that suddenly quieten before the vocals come in abruptly and screamed. The instrumentals and vocals build towards the chorus but for the majority of the song remain very fast, heavy and energetic. The song has a mix of clean and unclean vocals throughout.
