Every Monday a new album review will be posted with an overall analysis of the album as well as individual reviews of each song and a flag rating. The flag rating system will be based on 6 different commonly used flags in motorsport and will be explained below. In addition to this there will also be a discussion/recap of that weeks race and any news from Formula 1 or MotoGP.

Green Flag -
A green flag is typically used to indicate that the track is open for a session or that it has been cleared after an incident. A green flag will be used to indicate that a song is good and enjoyable, a song that would likely be listened too 8-9/10 times on a playlist.
Yellow Flag -
A yellow flag is usually bought out when there is a hazard on track. For our purpose a yellow flag will be used to indicate a song that isn't that great but is not terrible either, a song that would likely be played 5/10 times on a playlist.
Red Flag -
A red flag comes out when a session is being suspended and will be used here to show a song that isn't very good or enjoyable to listen to. A song that would be played 1-2/10 times on a playlist.
Black Flag -
A black flag is used to show that a competitor has been disqualified. a black flag here will mean that the song is absolutely terrible and shouldn't have been released in the first place.
Blue Flag -
A blue flag in racing is used to indicate that there are faster cars coming behind and you need to move over, they are typically used in a race if a backmarker is being lapped by a leading car. Here, a blue flag will be used for a song that may be nice and enjoyable to listen too but doesn't fit in with the rest of the album. A song that could fit better somewhere else, like on a different album or as a single.
Black & Orange Flag -
A black flag with an orange circle is used to show a particular driver/rider that they have a mechanical/technical issue and must go to the pits to get it fixed or risk taking a penalty. We will use the black & orange flag to indicate a song that has something wrong within it such as wrong audio levels, like overly quiet/loud vocals or instruments, or timing issues along the track. Even if the song has some element within it that doesn't fit into the song.
